Crush Injury Case
A crush injury to his left thumb was sustained by a toolmaker when he contracted an accident at work. He sustained the injury while adjusting an air power press machine. Liability was apportioned 80-20 in his favor. Fortunately, the toolmaker accepted a generous sum for his injury and in addition his legal costs were met by the third party insurers.
