Head Injury Case
A man was knocked off by a pipe and sustained a head injury as he fell past a loader bucket. He fell 12 feet on the graveled floor. He sustained fractures in the upper 3 ribs, a laceration to left anterior shin area and a head injury due to the blow sustained on the loader bucket. He was confined in a hospital for 3 days requiring extensive analgesia. He was in extensive soreness for 4 to 6 weeks. Nine months after the accident, there was still some moderate discomfort. Eventually, damages were recovered in appropriate financial terms in settlement. In addition he also recovered his legal costs and disbursements.
