Worker at Disney Falls, Rushed to a Hospital
October 5, 2009
Anaheim - A construction subcontractor working for the Disneyland Resort was injured when he fell off a trench Monday morning and was immediately taken to a hospital, reports indicate.
The unidentified man suffered back pains after falling off a 5-foot trench at around 8:41 am in an area to be used only by employees of the resort.
Responding firefighters feared the man could have sustained spinal cord injury, so the victim was transported to the hospital with a back board to avoid further damage.
There was no reported delay at Disneyland’s operation despite the man’s accident before the resort’s opening hour.
