CAR ACCIDENT: Woman on Crutches Nearly Hit by Accelerating Car

Los Angeles- A woman on crutches was nearly struck by a speeding car in Mission Viejo on Tuesday.
According to reports, the impaired woman was shopping in Rock N' Road Cyclery when a speeding car plowed into the store. A male customer immediately pulled her to the side to avoid the vehicle. The car halted after smashing through several non-load-bearing walls.
Reports said at least three customers suffered minor injuries from the debris and was treated at the scene.
The 86-year-old driver was trying to park near the shop, but hit the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes. Details on her injuries are not yet available, reports said.
Los Angeles police officers arrived at the scene, but did not cite the elderly driver of any charges.
