CAR ACCIDENT: Woman Killed in Highway 60 Car Crash
November 4, 2010
Ontario – A woman was killed after a fatal car accident along Highway 60 early this morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident occurred on the westbound lanes near South Grove Avenue after a green Chevy Metro and a black Ford Explorer collided with each other shortly after 2:00 am.
The crash blocked two lanes of the freeway and the woman was trapped in the wreckage of the Chevy Metro.
The woman was pulled from the wreckage then brought to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A second victim was brought to Chino Medical hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
The CHP is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has yet to release the identity of the victim.
