VAN ROLLOVER: Woman Killed, Eight Injured in Rollover Crash in Tracy

San Joaquin - A woman died, and seven others were injured after a van rollover accident on Chrisman Road on Sunday at 7:50 a.m.

Reports said the driver of Dodge Ram 350 was speeding at 75 miles per hour and flipped the van on the right shoulder of Chrisman Road. It overturned three times and ejected two of its eight passengers. The ejected woman died shortly after the crash, CHP police said.

At least seven other passengers and the driver were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries, reports said.

According to CHP reports, the driver was sleepy when it overcorrected on Chrisman road. Most of the passengers were not wearing seatbelts at the time of accident.
