ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Woman Dies in Golden Hill Rollover Crash

SAN DIEGO -- An unidentified woman died in a rollover accident after her SUV was rear-ended by a cab driver who was trying to change lanes in Golden Hill Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

Reports indicate that the woman on the Chevy Blazer was travelling on the No.4 southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at around 7:40 a.m. when a Ford Crown Victoria driven by a cabdriver who was going 65 mph clipped the left rear of the SUV.

The woman lost control of the SUV as it flipped over and blocked motorists in the southbound lanes. The woman died at the scene.

No one else was reportedly injured. The cab driver and witnesses were questioned as authorities conduct their investigation of the accident.
