DUI car accident: Woman arrested after deadly DUI car crash

Buena Park – A 21-year-old woman was arrested Friday morning after a fatal DUI rear-end car collision on 91 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to reports, Christen Payne, of Long Beach was driving her 2001 Volkswagen west on 91 at a high rate of speed at around 1 am when she collided with a stalled 2004 Toyota near Knott Avenue, causing its 37-year-old male driver to suffer fatal injuries.
Payne was arrested by authorities and booked in a city jail, facing driving under the influence and felony charges.
