Rollover Accident: Speeding Van Flips after Hitting Off-Duty Davis Police Officer

Davis - A speeding van has rolled over at least four times after it struck a male off-duty police officer along Interstate 80.

According to reports, the police officer was rear-ended by the van while on his way to work.

The speeding van rolled over after the driver lost control of it. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle shortly before it exploded.

Reports said both the police officer and the driver were brought to nearby hospitals. The extent of the injuries they sustained remains unknown.
