CAR COLLISION: Unidentified Male Driver Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision along I-5

Tustin – An unidentified male driver has suffered severe injuries Thursday afternoon after getting trapped in his car during a 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 5, north of Tustin Ranch Road, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, a Toyota Corolla, a Toyota Tundra, and a Mercedes Benz got into an accident when the driver of the Corolla lost control of his car at around 12:45 pm. Reports said the Corolla was facing the wrong way after the impact.

Firefighters and officers blocked three lanes of the highway and removed the driver from his car. He suffered mild to severe injuries and was taken to a hospital.
