September 13, 2010
Fontana - An engineer lost his arm after a train accident in Interstate 10 on Thursday at 11:55 pm.
The Union Pacific (UP) train collided with another train between Etiwanda Avenue and Cherry Avenue, causing an engineer to get trapped inside wreckage. Rescuers had to cut the engineer's arm to free him, reports said.
The engineer was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center along with another injured train operators and passengers, police said.
