TRAIN CRASH: Two Amtrak Trains Collide in Oakland, Leaving 18 Passengers Injured

Oakland – No serious injuries were recorded from the collision of two Amtrak train passenger trains in Oakland, reports said.

According to latest news reports, all of the 18 passengers who were injured from the train collision at Jack London Amtrak Station in Oakland did not suffer from life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have said that seven people were brought to a nearby hospital and 11 were treated at the scene of the incident.

Initial investigation has found out that Amtrak train from San Joaquin moving in a slow speed collided head-on with a stationary Coast Starlight train Wednesday.
