PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Toddler Sustains Serious Injuries when Hit by Van in Riverside

Riverside - A two-year-old girl, from Riverside, has sustained serious injuries when she was hit by a van while chasing a dog, said reports.
According to Riverside Police Department officials, the accident occurred when the girl darted into traffic along the 5600 block of Norwood Avenue at around 5:06 p.m. causing a passing van to strike her.
The toddler sustained a head injury and was rushed to Parkview Hospital. She was then transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Center and was listed under a serious condition.
