VEHICLE COLLISION: Three Injured when Patrol Car Crashes into Van in Oakland Chase

Oakland - A male Oakland police officer and two others have been injured after the officer’s patrol car smashed into a van during a chase.
According to reports, the accident happened while an officer was trying to stop an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit bus carrying a suspected wanted parolee along 23rd Avenue.
Authorities said the cruiser slammed into a van that was moving in the 2400 block of 23rd Avenue. The police officer and two occupants of the van sustained minor injuries.
