CAR ACCIDENT: Three Injured in Southwest L.A. Collision

Los Angeles-- At least three people were injured in Baldwin Hills neighborhood on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

According to reports, a Los Angeles police officer was driving his patrol car when another vehicle made a sudden left turn at Exposition Boulevard and Farmdale Avenue. The LAPD officer swerved his car to avoid colliding with the vehicle, but end up hitting a parked car.

The LAPD officer and his passenger, a fellow police, suffered moderate injuries. On the other hand, a passenger in the parked vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported the three people to a local hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
