BICYCLE ACCIDENT: Teenager Injured after Bicycle Crash in Norwalk

Los Angeles-- A Norwalk teenage boy suffered from injuries after his bicycle was hit by an oncoming vehicle along Alondra Boulevard on Friday at around 3:10 p.m.

According to Los Angeles police reports, the young cyclist was exiting the Norwalk Indoor Swamp Meet parking lot when a vehicle struck his bike. Paramedics arrived and transported the teenager to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Reports said the juvenile underwent surgery on Friday. Update on his medical condition is not yet available.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
