HEAD-ON COLLISION: Teen Killed, 5 Others Injured in Lido Head-On Collision

Lido-A head-on collision along Highway 88 has claimed the life of a 16-year-old girl and caused major injuries to five others, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

According to reports, the teen was driving east near Brandt Road when an approaching car suddenly blocked her path, causing the two vehicle to collide head-on.

The teen died at the scene while her 13-year-old passenger was rushed to a hospital.

According to reports, the other car is being driven a 65-year-old woman, from Gilroy. The elderly driver and three other vehicle occupants were brought to hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
