May 11, 2010
Los Angeles - The police has finally arrested the hit-and-run driver who injured two female pedestrians. He is being held on a $50,000 bail.
Reports stated that Mynor Antonio Rodriguez, 44, from Los Angeles, was arrested and booked on May 11, 2010 suspicion of felony hit-and-run following an accident that occurred along West 3rd Street at Boylston Street.
Authorities said the pedestrians were hit while they were crossing the street.
One of the women suffered from a broken kneecap while the other one sustained a fractured leg.
The driver reportedly confessed, claiming that he fled due to worries regarding his immigration status.
He may be required to spend at least five years in jail if convicted.
