VEHICLE COLLISION: Suspected Drunken Driver Injured after Colliding Head-On with Big Rig in I-5

Merced County-A female driver who is suspected of drunk driving has sustained major injuries after she collided head-on with a big along Interstate 5, west of Los Banos, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.
According to reports, the 23-year-old driver, from Huntington Beach, was moving south near Highway 33 when she suddenly crossed into the opposite lanes and collided with a big rig being driven by a 27-year-old man, from Compton.
The woman was brought to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto to be treated for her injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.
