Los Angeles - Authorities are looking for the driver of a new-edition Ford Mustang with front-end damage who ran over a 62-year old pedestrian and fled after the incident, the police announced.
The police said the incident occurred at around 5:30 am when the victim, later identified as Larry Hughes, was crossing Exposition Boulevard near Normandie was struck by the unidentified motorist who continued driving east.
Police said the victim was hit again by a second motorist who stopped to help the victim.
The victim later died in the hospital for the serious injuries he sustained.
Authorities are asking the public to help locate the suspect.
