PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT:Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident Arrested

Mountain View –Authorities have arrested a 46-year-old woman following a hit-and-run accident, which ended the life of an 80-year-old male pedestrian.

According to reports, Manuel Enos, from Mountain View, was in the crosswalk at Franklin Avenue and California Street when he was suddenly struck by a Toyota Corolla that was headed westbound along California Street.

Investigation led authorities to a female driver who was identified as Keibun Son, from Saratoga. She was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, said reports.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation, but it appears that alcohol was not involved in the accident.
