ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Sonoma County Hit-and-Run Results in Rollover Accident Kills One, Injures Two Others

Sonoma County - At least one person has died while two others have been injured following a hit-and-run accident in Sonoma recently.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Astro van that was carrying field workers suddenly went over an embankment along Guerneville Road, east of Laguna Road.
A male passenger was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over several times. He was announced dead at the accident area.
Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.
The man’s name has not yet been released due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, Domingo Layata-Mendez, 34, Nahum Avendano, 26, and Ignacio Hernandez-Rubio, 17, all from Santa Rosa, were injured in the crash. All of them are expected to live.
Reports said Layata-Mendez and Avendano suffered from lacerations and head injuries. They were brought to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital to be treated.
The teen was brought to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Rosa to receive treatment for a broken leg.
Authorities are now looking for the male driver, who reportedly fled after the accident.
