SKATEBOARDING ACCIDENT: Skater Dies after Hot-boarding in Los Angeles

Los Angeles-- A 35-year-old man was killed after a skateboarding accident in Santa Clarita on Tuesday, reports said.

Police said Edward Culhane was hot-boarding (skater is pulled along a moving vehicle) when he fell onto the ground. He sustained severe head trauma and was rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital. He died shortly after arrival in the hospital.

Los Angeles Police Officers arrested the driver, Ryan Howell, of driving under influence (DUI) charges. Details on the cause of accident are still under investigation.
