AVIATION ACCIDENT: Six Injured as LAX-bound United Airline Makes Emergency Landing in Montreal

Los Angeles – Six people sustained non-life threatening injuries after a severe turbulence forced a United Airlines flight going to Los Angeles from London to be diverted to Montreal.
According to United Airlines spokesperson Sarah Massier, the severe turbulence over the Atlantic Ocean yesterday was reported by United Flight 935 and it had to make an emergency landing in Montreal at about 1:15pm.
The Boeing 777 had to be taken out of service after the airplane accident to be inspected for any damages.
According to the airline, five passengers and one crew member were treated for injuries.
In a report by CBS2’s Kristine Lazar, a female flight attendant suffered a fracture during the turbulence. She was treated by a plastic surgeon who as onboard the plane.
Massier said that the airline sent for another plane from Chicago to take the passengers to Los Angeles from Montreal.
The passengers arrived in LAX yesterday night at 10 am, which is roughly 9 hours later than its scheduled landing or arrival.
