BUS ACCIDENT: Six Central Union High Students Injured in Bus Crash

Fresno - At least six students from Central Union High School were injured when a sedan collided with their school bus at Brawley and Belmont Avenues on Thursday at 7:00 a.m., reports said.

The Central Union bus was sitting at a stop sign at the intersection when a sedan crashed onto its rear.

At least six students and the sedan driver sustained minor injuries. Rescuers arrived and transported them to a local hospital, according to California Highway Patrol reports, Reports said that Dolores Contreras, the sedan driver, was cited for Driving under Influence (DUI). There were 50 Central High School students who were onboard the bus. No other injuries were reported.

California Highway Patrol officers are still investigating the details on the accident.
