Possible Drunk Driver in Critical Condition
December 16, 2009
North County – A woman had to be airlifted to a hospital early Wednesday morning after sustaining serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash believed to be caused by a drunk driver, the California Highway Patrol said.
Reports indicate that the woman was driving along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Oceanside when she was ejected from her vehicle at around 1:30 am after driving off road.
Authorities are yet to determine other factors that may have caused the accident.
