PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Police Seeking Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run in Koreatown
November 20, 2010
Los Angeles – Authorities are looking for the driver who failed to stop after hitting an 81-year-old woman in Koreatown early Saturday morning, reports said.
The woman, identified as Gae Sum Park, was reportedly walking off a marked crossed walk at Olympic and Harvard Boulevards around 2:30 am when she was hit by what witnesses described to be a light-colored vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota 4-Runner that was suspected to hit Park was last seen turning left onto Harvard Boulevard.
Park died at the scene after sustaining major head and body injuries.
