Pedestrian Accident: Police Pursuit Launched After a 14 Freeway Hit-and-Run Crash

Lancaster – The California Highway Patrol has launched a search operation for the hit-and-run driver who killed a 55 year-old-man in a 14 Freeway accident.

The victim was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road near Avenue K Sunday evening around 9 p.m., CHP officers said. His body was found dead near the shoulder of the freeway.

The accident resulted to the closure of the freeway that last until midnight.

Authorities are looking for witnesses who can give further information on the identity of the driver.
