PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Pedestrian Killed in a Hit-and-Run Accident

Los Angeles – The big rig driver believed to be responsible for the death of a pedestrian near the 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles and fled the scene was yet to be found Wednesday, authorities said.

According to reports, the accident at the Santa Monica on-ramp occurred around 10:40 am when a big rig truck hit a pedestrian near the on-ramp leading to the northbound lanes of 405 Freeway.

The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene.

Authorities failed to find the big rig driver on the scene.

The accident is being considered as a case of hit-and-run.
