PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Pedestrian ID’d in Fatal Weekend Crash in Porterville

Porterville – A 22-year-old woman who was hit and killed Saturday morning was identified by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.

Porterville woman Cinthia Garay died from the injuries she sustained after being hit on east of Road 200 along Highway 190.

Initial reports showed that the motorist drove away after hitting Garay who was said to be walking directly into the path of the vehicle.

The police are asking witnesses for information regarding the identity of the runaway suspect as they continue with investigations about the accident.
