Pedestrian Hit; Traffic Worsened

Anaheim – An unidentified man in his 80s was hit by a car near Ball Road causing traffic congestion Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Reports indicate that the man was walking across Brookhurst Street when he was hit by a black Acura at around 9 am. The pedestrian wasn’t on any crosswalk when he was hit.

The pedestrian was immediately taken to UCI Medical Center as his personal belongings and clothing lay on the street after the impact.

Identities of both the driver and the pedestrian are yet to be released pending further investigation.
