CAR ACCIDENT: Overspeeding and DUI-related accident kills father in East Valley

La Puente - Driving under Influence (DUI) and overspeeding were believed to be the causes pf accident in East Valley Boulevard that left father dead and five people injured on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
A Jeep Cherokee was overspeeding and hit a white sedan loading four people. The driver of the white sedan, father of two children, died instantly, reports said.
Firefighters used “jaws of life” equipment to help pull victims out of the rolled over sedan and clear four other crashed vehicles. Rescuers rushed all injured people to a local hospital. Details on the injuries remained undisclosed.
Police authorities are still investigating Driving under Influence (DUI) related violation as cause of the accident.
