VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Off-Duty LAPD Officer Killed in 4-Vehicle Collision

Diamond Bar – An off-duty police officer was killed last night after a multi-vehicle accident in Diamond Bar.

The victim was identified as 37-year old Jacqueline Montalvo of the Los Angeles Police District.

According to authorities, Montalvo was driving an Infiniti on Grand Avenue near Longview Drive when she swerved across the center divider and into incoming traffic.

The chain accident involved three other vehicles.

Authorities are still investigating what caused Montalvo to lose control of her vehicle or if any other vehicles may have been involved in the accident.

Montalvo was the only fatality but three other people were injured in the chain accident.

One of them remains in critical condition.
