MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Motorists Hurt in Marysville Collision

Marysville – At least two people were hospitalized after a crash involving a van, a car, and a motorcycle near 17th Street Tuesday night, authorities said.

According to witnesses, the car was driving along Swezy Street at around 7pm when it hit an eastbound van along 17th Street.

The motorcyclist failed to swerve away from the collision and he was thrown off his motorcycle after hitting one of the vehicles from behind.

He appeared conscious as rescuers airlifted him to a hospital. A passenger of the car was also brought to a hospital while the van’s driver appeared to be uninjured in the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
