MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Motorcyclist Killed in Collision during Chase by Police

South Los Angeles - A man has died after he collided with a van while trying to flee from a California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer.

According to reports, the fatal accident occurred along South Hoover Street and El Segundo Boulevard.

The man was moving along Hoover when he crashed into a van that was traveling westbound along El Segundo.

Reports said he was rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was announced dead.

Authorities were forced to block several lanes of El Segundo after the accident.
