TRUCK ACCIDENT: Minivan driver sandwiched between trucks on H-99

Bakersfield - A minivan driver sustained injuries after being sandwiched between two trucks on Highway 99 at Panama lane, the local police announced.

Reports said the minivan was heading to a construction zone near Panama Lane when a truck slammed its rear and shoved it towards another truck.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer said that the first truck failed to notice the red light and crashed onto the stationary van. The driver of the minivan sustained minor injuries amidst a second collision.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the man to a local hospital.

CHP officers are still investigating the details on the cause of accident. The identity of the driver has remained undisclosed.
