PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Man Killed after Crossing Hollywood Intersection

Los Angeles-- A man in his 30s was killed after crossing the street of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland intersection on Monday at 4:48 a.m.

A car driver was heading northbound on Highland Avenue when he struck the pedestrian who dashed into the busy intersection, according to Los Angeles police reports.

Reports said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident. Police officers blocked traffic on Hollywood Boulevard, which then resumed operations after a few hours.
