CAR ACCIDENT: Los Angeles Judge Orders Actor Gary Collins’ Arrest

Los Angeles - A Van Nuys judge has issued a $100,000 arrest warrant after Hollywood actor Gary Collins failed to appear for his progress hearing on November 4.

Reports said Rick Schmidt, Van Nuys Supervisor at the City Attorney's Office, will repeal Collins' probation for his 2007 DUI charge. Failure to appear on scheduled progress hearing will result to imprisonment.

Collins has had three other DUI charges for eight years and a recent hit-and-run charge in Mississippi on November 2.

Collins received an Emmy Award in 1983 as Outstanding Talk Show Host. He hosted numerous television series, including “The Sixth Sense” and “Born Free”. He appeared in films such as “Airport” and “Angel in My Pocket”.
