VEHICLE COLLISION: LAPD Officer Injured In Hit-and-run Crash near Palermo Boulevard

Los Angeles- A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Officer has suffered injuries after his motorcycle was broadsided by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) at Palermo Boulevard and Stocker Street on Tuesday.

The LAPD Officer was approaching the intersection when the SUV crashed onto his motorcycle. The SUV driver failed to stop and identify himself at the accident scene, according to reports.

Reports said that the police officer was cut off by a dark-colored SUV following the accident. Paramedics arrived and transported him to UCLA Medical Center.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
