Pacoima - Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives have arrested a suspected drunken driver who fled after he fatally struck a male bicyclist, reports said.
The accident occurred at Chamberlain Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard at around 2:11 a.m.
According to the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division, the victim received immediate medical treatment at the accident area. He was then rushed to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he was announced dead later on.
