VEHICLE COLLISION: LAFD Ambulance Involved in Wilshire Vehicle Accident; 2 Paramedics Injured

Los Angeles – Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a vehicle accident that involved a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance in Wilshire this morning.
According to the LAFD, the incident happened at about 6:20 am in the intersection of Olympic and Rimpau Boulevards.
The LAFD ambulance collided with a city vehicle on the way back from to the fire station after transporting a patient for medical treatment.
Two paramedics sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital after the car accident.
The LAFD has yet to release their identities and their current conditions.
Initial investigations have yet to find out the probable cause of the two-vehicle accident.
