MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: LA police officer injured in Long Beach hit-and-run accident

Long Beach - A Los Angeles Police Department officer sustained minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident near a construction site in Long Beach on Tuesday.
The police officer was patrolling on Second Street and Marina Drive when a green Ford Explorer collided with her motorcycle at 10:20 a.m., reports said.
Paramedics arrived shortly and transported the female officer to Long Beach Memorial Hospital. Doctors reported that she has been in stable condition.
Long Beach police authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
