DUI-Related Accident: Judge Admonished after Pleading Guilty to DUI

Los Angeles - A Compton superior judge has been admonished by a state oversight commission after he pleaded guilty to DUI, said reports.

Superior Court Judge John Doyle entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or more. Reports said his Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) reached .20 and .21 when he was involved in a crash on July 2, 2009.

The Commission on Judicial Performance reprimanded Doyle, saying his actions disregarded the principles of official and personal conduct that were covered by the “Code of Judicial Ethics.”

Reports said no penalties were imposed on the judge.
