ROLLOVER CRASH: Interstate 805 Rollover Accident Kills Two, Injures Two More
NOVEMBER 11, 2010
San Diego – A rollover crash in Interstate 805 has resulted in the death a San Diego man and one of his passengers early Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The 20-year-old motorist was reportedly driving a northbound black Lexus GS300 when he tried to take the state Route 94 connector and lost control of the vehicle. The Lexus veered off the ramp and rolled over several times.
The driver was said to be travelling with three 21-year-old women when the accident occurred.
He and one of the women seated at the right rear passenger seat was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. Reports show that the occupants were not wearing seatbelt when the accident occurred.
The two other passengers sustained non life-threatening injuries as they were wearing their seatbelts.
No other vehicle was involved in the accident. Authorities are still determining the cause of the crash and if alcohol or drugs was involved.
