MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Hawthorne man killed in motorcycle crash
November 3, 2010
Santa Monica - A Hawthorne motorcycle rider died after crashing onto a van and a Ford Expedition SUV on westbound of Santa Monica freeway on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old rider was speeding on No.3 and 4 lanes when he crashed the motorcycle onto the rear of a van and the SUV at 8:51 a.m.
The Yamaha motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
California Highway Patrol officers are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
