BUS ACCIDENT: Gorman Bus Collision Kills Two

Gorman – At least two people were killed after a head-on collision involving a bus loaded with prisoners Tuesday afternoon just east of the 5 Freeway, reports said.

The accident, which occurred along Highway 138, was reported at around 2:15 pm when a state fire vehicle carrying California fire crew inmates collided with another car. The inmates inside the fire truck were reportedly ejected as the vehicle rolled over.

The identity of the two fatalities is yet to be released.

Authorities assured the public that none of the inmates were able to escape after the crash.

The highway was closed for some time as authorities investigated and cleared debris from the crash.
