CAR ACCIDENT: Female Passenger Seriously Injured in T-bone Crash

Fontana- A female occupant sustained serious injuries after the car she was riding in was hit by a truck on Sierra Avenue on Monday at 3:46 p.m.

According to reports, the woman was a passenger in a Honda Accord when a pick up truck hit their car. She sustained head and leg injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The car driver was traveling southbound on Sierra Avenue when it broadsided a pick up, which was pulling out of a shopping center. Details on the injuries of both drivers are not yet available.

Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
