PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Fatal Pedestrian Accident Triggers Pacific Coast Highway Closure
March 15, 2010
Malibu - The Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) had been closed for at least six hours following an accident that ended the life of a female 73-year-old pedestrian.
According to reports, the fatality, identified as Amelia Ordona, was hit by several vehicles along Winding Way.
She was reportedly struck by a northbound vehicle, thrown towards the roadway’s other side, and hit by around six southbound vehicles.
Reports said only three motorists stopped their vehicle after the fatal accident.
The roadway was closed between Malibu Canyon Road and Kanan Dume Road while authorities were conducting an investigation.
