SUV CRASH: Fatal Crash Victim in Glendale Identified

West Hollywood – The Department of Coroners and the Sheriff’s Department in Los Angeles have released the identity of the man who was killed in a single vehicle crash yesterday morning in Glendale.

The man was identified as Darrell K. Mervin, 49, of Los Angeles.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the car accident happened at around 5:45am while Mervin was going north on La Brea near Santa Monica Boulevard.

For yet unknown reasons, Mervin lost control and struck a tree on the side of the road.

The SUV, which Mervin was driving, ended up on the sidewalk.

There were no other injuries in the single car accident.

The SUV crash is still under investigation.
