ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Elderly SUV Driver Dies in Hawthorne Rollover Accident

Hawthorne - A male Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) driver, from Lynwood, died following a rollover accident along the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

According to reports, the driver, who was in his 50s, was traveling westbound when his Toyota 4Runner suddenly headed off the road, went over a dirt embankment, and slammed into the pole at around 10:25 am.

Authorities said the man sustained fatal injuries after his vehicle overturned into a backyard.
